Celebrating special moments and creating memories
A Day of Wonder at the Waterfront Aquarium Hosted by Lions Club & Waterfront Aquarium | December , 2024 On December 3rd, 2024, Colour My World South Africa families were treated to a magical outing at the Waterfront Aquarium, thanks to the generous support of the Lions Club and the Aquarium team. Children with special needs, along with their families, spent a joyful few hours exploring the wonders of marine life, creating memories that will last a lifetime. 🚌 Safe and seamless transport was arranged, ensuring everyone arrived and returned home comfortably. The excitement on the bus was only matched by the awe and delight inside the aquarium. 🧁 A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers Shihaam and her daughter, who lovingly prepared party packets and cupcakes for the children—your kindness added a sweet touch to an already special day. 📸 We’re also deeply grateful to the photographer who volunteered her time to capture the smiles, laughter, and moments of connection throughout the event. Your lens helped preserve the joy. Candice from -Different Kind of Perfect 🙏 We encourage everyone to support the Lions Club, Classic Bakery (www.classicbakery.co.za) and Different Kind of Perfect Photography 💛 At CMWSA, we believe every child deserves to live their best life. We look forward to partnering with more companies and individuals who are ready to pay it forward and help create special outings.

🎮 Comic Con South Africa 2024 – A Day of Pure Joy In 2024, Colour My World South Africa was honoured to receive donated tickets from Comic Con South Africa and the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC)—a generous gesture that opened the doors to an unforgettable experience for our children and their families. This event was a huge success, filled with laughter, excitement, and moments of pure freedom. For many of our children, Comic Con became a place where disability was not judged, but embraced. They explored vibrant displays, immersed themselves in the game room, and indulged in delicious food—all in a space that celebrated imagination, inclusion, and joy. Parents and children alike felt welcomed, seen, and uplifted. It was more than an outing—it was a reminder that every child deserves to feel free, to play, and to belong. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Comic Con SA and CTICC for making this possible. Your kindness created memories that will last a lifetime. We’re already dreaming of more inclusive outings like Comic Con in 2026—because every child deserves a front-row seat to fun.
