Year End Picnic and Free Photoshoot

🌸 Colour My World South Africa – Year-End Celebration On 16 December 2025, Colour My World South Africa will gather at the beautiful Arderne Gardens in Claremont for a heartfelt year-end function. This special day was made possible through the generosity and support of our volunteers, partners, and friends. ✨ Highlights of the day: Families will enjoy a free photoshoot, kindly sponsored by the Lions Club Cape Town, capturing memories to treasure forever. Members and volunteers will come together for a joyful bring-and-share picnic, celebrating the achievements of the past year and looking forward to what lies ahead. Our friends at 67 Blankets (NPO) gifted each child with a present, spreading warmth and kindness. The dedicated staff of Aquila Collection donated goodies for party packets, adding extra delight to the children’s day. 📸 Photos are memories, and this gathering reminds us how important it is to end the year with gratitude, joy, and togetherness. We are deeply thankful to everyone who contributed to making this event possible. Here’s to carrying these memories into the new year, with hope and excitement for what is to come.

Water Therapy for children with special needs

🌈 CMWSA & New Floating Creations Retreat: Where Water Meets Wonder At Colour My World South Africa, we believe every child deserves joy, connection, and the chance to thrive. Over the years, our events have brought smiles to countless families—whether through inclusive outings, sensory-friendly celebrations, or creative workshops designed to uplift children with special needs and their siblings. Now, we’re proud to introduce our newest initiative: New Floating Creations Retreat, a gentle water therapy and swimming experience tailored for children with disabilities. Held once or twice a month, these 45-minute to 2-hour sessions take place in a warm-water pool heated to 30°C, creating a safe and soothing environment where children can float, play, and grow. 💧 Why Water Therapy Works Water therapy is more than just fun—it’s healing. The buoyancy of water reduces pressure on joints and muscles, allowing children to move freely and comfortably. For those with physical or neurological challenges, water offers: Improved motor skills and coordination Enhanced muscle tone and flexibility Reduced anxiety and sensory overload Boosted confidence through playful movement Our sessions are guided by kind, experienced staff who understand the unique needs of each child. We also welcome one sibling per participant, encouraging shared joy and strengthening family bonds. 🌟 What to Expect A warm, welcoming atmosphere where every child is celebrated Gentle floating, guided movement, and playful water games Opportunities for social interaction and sensory exploration A safe space for parents to connect and relax Whether your child is dipping a toe or diving into new possibilities, Floating Creations Retreat is a place where healing begins with laughter—and every splash tells a story of hope.
